Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Business Operations to oversee and optimize all aspects of the company’s operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day business activities, ensuring efficiency, and driving operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a focus on achieving business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s business goals and growth objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity across departments.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the operations team, providing direction and support to ensure optimal performance and alignment with company goals.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with other department heads (e.g., finance, HR, sales, and marketing) to ensure smooth inter-departmental operations.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee budgets, control operational costs, and allocate resources efficiently to maximize output.
  • Business Continuity: Develop and implement business continuity plans to ensure uninterrupted operations and minimize risk in case of disruptions.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track operational performance, ensuring targets are met.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all business operations comply with local regulations and company policies, managing risk and maintaining high operational standards.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Other: Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Preferred

  • Experience in a fast-paced corporate or manufacturing environment with proven success in managing business operations.
