
Manager IT
IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all information technology systems and infrastructure within the organization. This role ensures the reliable operation of IT services, manages a team of IT professionals, and partners with leadership to align technology solutions with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department.
Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Oversee IT infrastructure (networks, servers, storage, security, etc.).
Manage IT projects including software upgrades, hardware installations, and system integrations.
Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery protocols are in place.
Supervise and mentor IT staff, providing training and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT procurement and support.
Maintain and monitor system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Prepare and manage the IT budget.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO, HIPAA).
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in IT operations, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
Experience in managing IT infrastructure and support services.
Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and risk management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft.
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Background in both enterprise and SMB IT environments.
