Job Overview

We are seeking a Research & Development Manager to lead innovation and enhance product offerings in our snack manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the R&D team, developing new products, improving existing recipes, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Development: Oversee the design and development of new snack products, guiding the team from concept through formulation to production.
• Recipe Enhancement: Lead efforts to improve existing products by optimizing ingredients and processes for better taste, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends and consumer preferences, shaping product development strategies.
• Compliance: Ensure that all new products adhere to regulatory standards and food safety requirements.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and market readiness.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop the R&D team, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in R&D within the food industry, with a focus on snack manufacturing and at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Skills: Strong leadership, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and in-depth knowledge of food formulation and processing.

Preferred

• Experience with product testing and sensory evaluation, along with a track record of successful product launches.
